Skillseeker Programmes are available to full time employees aged between 16 to 24 years old. There are a Skillseeker qualifications available, David Brown Training is accredited to offer the following:

• Administration
• Customer Service
• Distribution & Warehousing
• Food & Drink Manufacturing Operations
• Meat & Poultry
• Perform Manufacturing Operations

Skillseeker funding is made available through Local Enterprise Companies (Scottish Enterprise) for each region. This funding is available directly to companies for their employees or through training providers to ‘sell’ to companies in each region.

16 -18 year old Skillseekers – Level II SVQ in appropriate discipline
19 – 24 year old Skillseekers – Level II or III SVQ in appropriate discipline

Modern Apprenticeships are available to full time employees over the age of sixteen. There are a number of Modern Apprenticeship qualifications available, David Brown Training is accredited to offer the following:

• Management
• Meat Industry

Management – SVQ Level III or IV, plus 2 SVQ Units and the NEBS Introductory Certificate in Management.
