Support Competence in the Workplace (L20)

What is it?
Support Competence in the Workplace (L20) is a practical award in Learning & Development, accredited by SQA. It focuses on the main skills required to assess competence in the workplace: communication, observation, questioning and feedback.

Who is it for?
It is aimed who are responsible for assessing competence in the workplace – but not assessing as part of an S/NVQ programme.

What’s involved?
The tried and tested method involves delegates attending a one-day workshop where the practical aspects of competence assessment are covered by highly experienced facilitators.
Delegates have to complete two workplace assessments using their organisations competency system and complete their DBT L20 Assessment Pack.
Where required, a days practice session can be held on your company’s premises to assist delegates in developing these important skills.
